ISR Global’s Tempest software now running in Data on Air’s NOC

ORLANDO, Fla.; MAITLAND, Fla.; March 18, 2002 -- Data on Air, Inc., a leader in creating and delivering turnkey wireless data products and services; and ISR Global Telecom, Inc., a leader in standards-based network management solutions; today announced that ISR Global’s flagship product, Tempest, has been implemented in Data on Air’s state-of-the-art network operations center (NOC).

Tempest is a network management software suite that provides capabilities such as fault management, performance management, policy management, provisioning, configuration, inventory and topology functions. Data on Air’s NOC currently provides hosted wireless data services to a dozen carriers, based on the WAP mobile access gateway infrastructure from industry leader Openwave Systems, Inc. Data on Air is the only company authorized to offer Openwave Systems’ market leading WAP Mobile Access Gateway as a fully managed service.

ISR Global’s Tempest has replaced Data on Air’s legacy management system to monitor the Openwave Mobile Access Gateway along with Data on Air’s hosted services, servers and network devices. By incorporating the Tempest network management suite in its NOC, Data on Air provides its outsourced wireless data carrier customers a significantly improved service level management capability.
