CLEARWATER, FL, AND ATLANTA, GA – August 21, 2002 – Tandel Systems LLC, developers of the SAGE™ integration framework for complex systems, and Emergency Visions LLC, a leading provider of consequence-management solutions, today announced that the two companies have formed a strategic alliance to develop and deliver ResponseVision™, a comprehensive and informative system for the Design, Automation, and Simulation of Emergency Response Plans for natural or man-made disasters.
ResponseVision™ addresses four key areas: Contingency Planning, Consequence Coordination and Response, Post-event Audit / Documentation, and Event Prediction and Preventative Response. ResponseVision™ will connect seamlessly with existing information sources, including emergency management command centers, fire, police, hospitals, EMS, and even state and federal organizations. Target customers include chemical manufacturing/plant operations (based on their high vulnerability to emergency situations) and civil Homeland Security operations (for a coordinated, municipal-wide response to Bioterrorism, and to provide improved incident command, control, and communications for First Responders involved in All-Hazard situations).
Shawn Smith, President of Emergency Visions, summarized the benefits of ResponseVision™, “This new solution automates and manages contingency plans for virtually any natural hazard or man-made multi-casualty event, including Bioterrorist acts.
