ACT! 6.0 Selects South Florida as One of Only Nine National Launch Tour Stops

ACT!, the world’s best selling contact management application, will unveil its latest release (ACT! 6.0) to South Florida users with a demonstration and trade show. The free event, presented by Goldstein Lewin & Co, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, and sponsored by The South Florida Business Journal will take place at the Westin Hotel on Cypress Creek Road in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, August 26th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be a cold buffet and door prizes.
Michaela Zwinakis, Vice President of Interact Commerce Corporation, the maker of ACT!, will demonstrate some of the more than 50 improvements found in this new version. Karen Fredricks, the ACT! Certified Consultant selected by Interact to host this event, will provide examples of how the application can be customized to meet the specific needs of its users. After the presentations, Zwinakis and Fredricks will field questions from the audience.
Before and after the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to visit table top exhibits showcasing both local businesses and companies with products that enhance the capabilities of ACT! Following is the schedule for the event:
5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Registration and trade show 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Introduction of ACT! 6.0 upgrade and presentation by Michaela Zwinakis, ACT! Vice President Presentation on customization of ACT! to meet specific needs of users by Karen Fredricks of Goldstein Lewin. She is an ACT! Certified Consultant and ACT! Premier Trainer. Question and Answer Session with questions from the audience. 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Post-event media opportunity to interview Michaela Zwinakis and Karen Fredricks. Opportunity for attendees to visit table top exhibits.
