BackBone Appoints New Senior Account Manager

Boca Raton, Florida – June 27, 2002-- BackBone Inc., a marketing, public relations and business development firm headquartered in Boca Raton (with offices in NY and California), today announces that it has named Liza Gutierrez-O'Neill Senior Account Manager.

A public relations professional who brings seven years of marketing experience, Mrs. Gutierrez-O'Neill will be responsible for the development of public relations strategies and the management of the company's public relations initiatives. She will also coordinate joint projects with Chazbrooks Communications, a London-based pr firm with whom BackBone is partnered.

Following her graduation from Florida Atlantic University, Mrs. Gutierrez-O'Neill worked for Sportsfan Radio as an associate producer, and then went on to hold a marketing associate position with Sprint PCS in South Florida, where she coordinated high profile, nationally sponsored, media events, acting as a liaison for the NFL, SuperBowl, U.S. Ski Team and NASCAR. In addition, she insured brand awareness with coverage in an array of local sponsorships and media outlets in the tri-county area.
