MELBOURNE, Fla.--June 27, 2002--The U.S. Department of Justice has chosen Wavecrest Computing's Cyfin Reporter product as its Web monitoring software to cover up to 100,000 users.
Cyfin is used by many businesses and government agencies to monitor and report on how a workforce uses an organization's Web access resources. Known for its highly accurate and comprehensive results, Cyfin helps line managers, HR personnel and IT administrators maximize productivity in the workplace, reduce bandwidth costs, and minimize inappropriate and non-productive surfing.
Among other features, Cyfin enables organizations of all types and sizes to monitor Internet, intranet and extranet activity, see results in both standard and custom categories and detect abuse automatically. Cyfin can also schedule reports to run automatically, generate reports from remote consoles, automatically, download categorization list updates, disable non-essential categories, exclude VIPs from reports, and obtain "exception-only" reports. Scalable to 100,000 users, Cyfin is compatible with most popular operating systems, firewalls and proxy servers.
