Miami, FL, June 24, 2002 – Data Access Worldwide (www.dataaccess.com), a provider of cross-platform software application development tools, has delivered to Shake-A-Leg Miami (www.shakealegmiami.org) the latest revision of a customized scheduling and registration software application built on Visual DataFlex 8, the company’s flagship RAD tool for building Windows database applications.
“We are pleased to be able to assist Shake-A-Leg with continuing to provide its unique services to the South Florida community,” said Charles Casanave, III, CEO of Data Access Worldwide. The official delivery took place June 7 during Shake-A-Leg’s official groundbreaking ceremony in Coconut Grove celebrating the commencement of construction on its new Watersports Center and Marine Academy on Biscayne Bay.
John Kramel, Senior Consultant for Data Access Worldwide’s Professional Services Group, served as the lead developer for the operations application. DAW’s professional services staff, either on a volunteer basis or at a specially reduced rate, provided additional development expertise for the project. DAW also helped obtain free registration for Shake-A-Leg personnel in Crystal Reports classes offered by Hammerman Associates (www.hammerman.com), of Salisbury, MD.
