Still Growing After All These Years. Established in 1971, Innerspace Electronics Corporation continues to provide timely and cost effective solutions for corporate, government, and individual clients.
Over the years, Innerspace Electronics Corporation has put together the finest minds in all major technological fields. Whether they are developing custom network and phone systems for home, office, or major corporations (WAN / LAN), to complex systems ranging from audio to wastewater treatment facilities, INNERSPACE has proven its staff and partners have just the right solutions to fit their customers needs.
Developed in 1971 by company president, Stephen Kocell, Innerspace Electronics has had a long line of technological successes.
During the Suez crisis, engineers at I.E.C. developed highly sensitive submersible metal & explosive detectors for the United States Navy. These instruments were accredited to saving hundreds of lives.
I.E.C. also has designed several under water propulsion systems, as well as self-contained life support equipment. This equipment has been used by search and rescue divers and in the science of oceanography for many years.
In the 70’s and 80’s while America was in the midst of a severe energy crisis, I.E.C. developed alternative energy storage and control systems. These systems gave way to the hybrid vehicles that are evolving today. For over three years I.E.C. engineers drove their platform test vehicle on the streets of South Florida and made many appearances at energy conservation shows.
Heightened environmental concerns, especially in the metal industry, put I.E.C. engineers to the task of developing a way to remove contaminants from wastewater. The result was one of the first artificially intelligent controlled batch water filtering systems ever.
Changes in the technology of industrial automation had I.E.C. at the forefront. Their engineers changed cam and switch systems with computers and adopted fiber optics to control systems in environments with high electrical interference. IBM noticed their significant achievements and called I.E.C in to consult on industrial automation systems.
As the speed of business technology grows faster, I.E.C. engineers continue to please customers with unique solutions. The I.E.C. Fax librarian system raised distributed computer telephony, document storage and retrieval from the Intranet to the Internet. As distributed communication and data network needs continue to grow so does Innerspace Electronics. They have expanded their expertise to include network engineering and design, wide area networking, wireless networking, network and telecom wiring, and have engineers developing cost saving solutions for voice over IP and virtual private networks. Once again proving I.E.C. has the technology you need for tomorrow, today.
