Boca Raton, FL...Connexia Consulting, LLC is pleased to announce that James West recently joined its staff as Network Engineer. In this position, West is in charge of the network services that Connexia provides to small and mid-sized businesses. His responsibilities include needs assessments, selection and installation of appropriate hardware, network configuration and optimization, implementation, documentation, security, and troubleshooting.

West is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, holds Novell Netware certification, and has earned the nationally recognized A+ Certification. He has also completed the System Administration, Networking and Security (SANS) Seminars for Internet security, a critical issue in today’s computing environment.

An experienced Network Engineer/Administrator, West has designed, implemented, and maintained networks involving a variety of server applications. Prior to joining Connexia, he was System Administrator/Network Engineer at Goldstein Lewin & Co., Certified Public Accountants and Consultants. There, he was responsible for a Local Area Network consisting of 5 on-site servers and 65 workstations. He was also a System Administrator and Manager for a Pompano Beach engineering firm.
