Clearwater/ May 23, 2002: Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC) today announced the launch of a new range of industry-specific “on-hold” messaging solutions. Covering seven different industry sectors, the CD-based packages include AMTC’s TraxMaster player, along with a CD containing general interest messages designed for vision care, dental, chiropractic, veterinary and medical practices, plus credit unions and golf courses.

Callers on hold are a concern for any business. These packages address that concern, enabling the practice or business to turn otherwise negative “on-hold” time into positive patient/customer relationship time.

Each CD provides over 75 messages covering general interest topics within the chosen industry sector, allowing callers to be kept informed and entertained. Greetings for all major holidays are also available. Each 30 to 60 second message has background music. AMTC can write and produce custom messages to cover the unique aspects of individual practices or businesses, such as specialties, location, hours of business, etc.

AMTC’s TraxMaster player requires no maintenance and the CD never wears out. Installation is easy; the player is simply plugged into the phone system as “music on hold”. The player allows the business or practice to program as many messages as they desire, in any order, changing the selection at will. The complete package costs $449 and custom messages can be created for just $100 more at the time of purchase.
