Mirella Perlin Joins Sabio IT As Director of Consulting, Banking and Finance

CORAL GABLES, FL (May 6, 2002) – Mario Santiago, President of Sabio Information Technologies, a comprehensive managed services and communications provider specializing in technology security and IT consulting services, announced today that, Mirella Perlin, an IT banking specialist, has joined the firm as the newly appointed Director of Consulting, Banking and Finance.

In her new position, Ms. Perlin will offer full technical consultation to the banking industry, working closely with individual banks as they integrate new procedures into their existing systems in order to comply with federal regulations outlined in the Gramm-Leach-Biley Act, regarding customer privacy.

Ms. Perlin brings 20 years of combined banking and technical expertise to Sabio. Before joining the company, she was President of her own information technology consulting firm, mPsolutions, Inc., specializing in secure systems for customer privacy and disaster recovery for banks and financial institutions.

Prior to that, she served as Director of Operations for a financial investment firm where she was responsible for the operations, information systems and accounting functions in the management of investment portfolios. She also held key positions with Southeast Bank N.A., including Assistant Vice President of Financial Systems, EDP. Ms. Perlin was hand picked to manage the bank’s Disaster Recovery project for the entire Information Systems department. She also headed several bank acquisition conversions for customer and deposit applications.

The appointment of Ms. Perlin underscores Sabio’s commitment to providing turnkey services to the banking industry.
