Digital Lightwave Names Mark E. Scott as Chief Financial Officer CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 2002--Digital Lightwave(R), Inc. (Nasdaq:DIGL), a leading provider of optical networking products and technology, today announced that it has named Mark E. Scott as its new chief financial officer and vice president, Finance. Scott will be responsible for all financial, administrative and investor relations functions for the company.
Most recently, Scott served as Chief Financial Officer of Network Access Solutions Corporation, a publicly-traded broadband solutions provider headquartered in Herndon, Virginia. Prior to Network Access Solutions, Scott was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance of Teltronics, Inc., a Sarasota, Florida-based international manufacturer of telephone switching systems and software. Before that, he served as Vice President, Finance and Controller of Protel, Inc., a global telecommunications company. Scott has also held various senior financial management positions at RHM Holdings, Inc., Crystals International, Inc. and Schoenfeld Industries, Inc.
A seasoned financial executive, Scott's previous experience includes several mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, as well as the implementation of a variety of management information systems. Scott is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Washington.
