iLIANT(R) Corporation, a leading provider of outsourced technology management, application hosting and business services for physician practices, today announced its acquisition of MedCare Management Systems, LLC (MedCare), a service company providing physicians with accounts receivable management, information technology, medical transcription and other management services. The acquisition of MedCare enhances iLIANT's existing technology and business outsourcing services with added capabilities to continue meeting the growing management needs of physician practices.

Since 1998, MedCare has been serving Jacksonville, Fla., physicians specializing in the fields of cardiology, orthopedics, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, among others. The MedCare operations will be combined with iLIANT's Jacksonville subsidiary office.
