MIAMI, Fla. – January 8, 2002 – Bradley Kempthorne, CSI, a senior consultant with IBA Consultants, has been named president of the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). He had previously served the organization as first vice president.

CSI is an individual membership technical society whose core purpose is to improve the process of creating and sustaining the built environment. The Institute provides technical information and products, continuing education, professional conferences, and product shows to enhance communication among all disciplines of nonresidential building design and construction and meet the industry’s need for a common system of organizing and presenting construction information.

“In this rapidly developing industry, CSI’s role will be even more important,” states Kempthorne. “It is my goal to continue the growth of this organization and to foster the programs that have helped the organization grow.”
