Lindauer Named To Head Retrieval Dynamics Wireless Application Development Team

DONALD E. LINDAUER NAMED TO HEAD RETRIEVAL DYNAMICS WIRELESS APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT TEAM
SARASOTA, FL, January 7, 2002 – Retrieval Dynamics Corp. (RDC), a provider of wireless Internet services that boost business productivity, has named Donald E. Lindauer to head its application development team. Mr. Lindauer will oversee the design and development of new products for corporate and consumer markets and create enhancements to RDC’s existing wireless applications, Qxprint™ and DocLYNX™ Lite.
Mr. Lindauer is a veteran software engineer who brings more than 20 years experience in programming and managing software development projects to RDC. His background includes extensive experience in Internet applications using the latest technologies including WAP, WML, Java, SOAP and XML.
“Don Lindauer will add to our technical capabilities and enable us to capitalize on the solid foundation we’ve built in developing new wireless data applications to serve the corporate and consumer markets,” said John Harkola, Retrieval Dynamics’ CEO.
Prior to joining RDC, Mr. Lindauer was a senior programmer at Casi-Rusco, Inc., Boca Raton, Florida, where he developed wireless alarm and asset management systems for the security industry. Earlier, as director of software development at Virtacon, a Boca Raton Internet application company, he had project management responsibility for a wide variety of Internet applications, and several wireless applications.
Areas in which Mr. Lindauer has software design/development experience include inventory tracking and CAD, quality monitoring, structural engineering and alarm monitoring. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York, where he graduated Cum Laude.
Retrieval Dynamics currently offers two Internet-based wireless applications for mobile workers. Its Qxprint (www.qxprint.com) remote document management application, that is accessible from virtually any web enabled wireless device, is now a featured option on the Sprint PCS web-enabled cell phone network that currently boasts around 2 million subscribers. DocLYNX Lite (www.doclynx.com), which provides real estate professionals with remote access to Multiple Listing Service databases, recently received the 2001 Mobile Star Award, which honors significant contributions to the wireless industry.
