LOCAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY NAMES NEW PRESIDENT

Tallahassee, Fla. — PATLive, a Tallahassee-based company, announced effective January 1, 2002 Executive Vice President Raun J. Kilgo, will be promoted to the leadership role of president & CEO of PATLive. Glen Davidson, founder and current president & CEO will focus on his role as chairman of the board.

"Raun’s leadership abilities, along with his corporate telecom experience, will be extremely valuable to PATLive as we take advantage of the enormous opportunities that the changes in the communications industry are creating for our company," said PATLive Chairman Glen Davidson.

Kilgo brings over eight years experience in the telecommunications field to PATLive. Prior to joining PATLive, Kilgo was the senior vice president of sales and vice president of product management for Ptek Holdings, Inc. a worldwide leader in multimedia messaging solutions, unified communications and conferencing. Kilgo was responsible for the company’s overall direct sales, product management and marketing activities, including product definition and development, market research and legacy initiatives.

Kilgo also served as senior product manager and director of engineering with Intellivoice, a privately held developer of speech recognition and speech synthesis technology. Kilgo worked at AT&T and GE for three years where he conducted strategic marketing initiatives, lead project management for the sales division and headed up mergers and acquisitions efforts.

In addition, Kilgo is a lawyer and practiced (private and corporate) for eight years. Kilgo holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
