Directmoving® Launches Relocation Software Platform

Directmoving.com, the first worldwide relocation portal today announced the availability for licensing of a new relocation software platform to multi-nationals who relocate staff all year long.
The major benefit to such companies is having their own version of Directmoving®, branded with their corporate identity, where expatriate employees can obtain all the information that they need from within the private corporate intranet.
An additional benefit is that the company can choose to include their own service providers in the appropriate sector of the platform, rather than being restricted to a specific service provider, because that company has supplied the software.
A unique and vertical software infrastructure, Directmoving’s relocation platform is the result of years of relocation expertise, content development and business contacts worldwide.
Designed to be integrated & used on corporate intranets and extranets, Directmoving®'s platform is updated with new content on a daily basis and new features are being added every month for better interaction between service providers, HR managers, expatriates and Directmoving® experts.

The platform can either be licensed as a complete infrastructure or, for those companies with a smaller number of relocating employees or specific requirements, it may be licensed on a per channel basis. Announcing the availability of the software platform, Rami Debbas, CEO of Directmoving explained that although entering the software market had not been a prime objective when the site launched eighteen months ago, the idea came from an existing client.
“One of our Corporate clients, a large multi-national with hundreds of expats around the world, discovered that their relocating employees spent more time on Directmoving® than on their own intranet” he said. “The client contacted us and asked if they could duplicate Directmoving® in part or in whole on their corporate intranet. It was obvious that that there was a true interest from their expats in using and benefiting from our services, so we decided together that they could import part of our Platform on their intranet.”
“Since then we have received similar requests from more multinationals asking us to link our website to their intranet. So it was obvious that a demand existed in the market – and our relocation software platform satisfies that demand,” he concluded.
