MIAMI, Nov. 7, 2001 – Compuquip Technologies Inc. today announced it has introduced a managed intrusion detection service that will automatically respond to both internal and external attacks on computer networks and servers.

Compuquip’s Managed Intrusion Detection service uses customized firewalls and security software installed on clients’ servers and 24-hour monitoring from Compuquip’s network operations center. When an attack is recognized against the server or network, the service will automatically respond to avert an intrusion and notify Compuquip personnel and others as appropriate.
