DataGlyphics Announces Launch of Teltronics’ New Web Site – DataGlyphics develops, designs, hosts and manages new www.teltronics.com –
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc. and Teltronics (OTCBB: TELT), a Sarasota-based provider of communications solutions and services, today announced the launch of Teltronics’ new corporate Web site – www.teltronics.com. The new database-driven site provides enhanced customer service and support, a new Education Center and an online User Community that caters to the Teltronics global network of customers, investors, partners and distributors.
“The key to this project was developing an intuitive solution that would spread site ownership across the entire enterprise,” said William H. Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics. “We did that by working with Teltronics to build a logical backend administrative portal that allows users to login and manage their department’s Web content – regardless of that individual’s HTML or Web programming experience. For example, an authorized Teltronics’ marketing professional now can login to the administrative backend of the site and update news releases or the company events calendar by completing logical online forms – no programming is required. The result is a site that offers a lot of helpful dynamic content that better supports Teltronics’ customers, investors and partners.”
To streamline customer service and support, the new site enables Teltronics’ customers to logon and automatically purchase hourly customer support packages – 24 x 7. By purchasing a support package online, the customer receives a unique personal identification number (PIN) that allows instant access to the Teltronics technical support representatives.
Candy Mizer, director of marketing communications with Teltronics, said, “The online support registration was an important piece of our new Web solution. Now, our customers can simply logon, get their support PIN and call in for immediate assistance. It’s helpful to our customers, and it helps us in that the Web site automatically generates and assigns the PINs and stores them on the backend of the site where our representatives can view client support records.”
A new Education Center also delivers enhanced customer support by allowing site visitors to browse different training courses, register for courses online and submit credit card payments. After registering for their courses, users receive an automated email confirmation that their credit card purchases were approved and that they successfully registered for their training classes. To manage the many course listings, authorized Teltronics personnel can login to the backend administration portal and make updates to course schedules, descriptions, etc. – all with no HTML or programming skills required.
The Teltronics User Community is another new online resource for customers, distributors and partners that provides up-to-date information about selling and servicing Teltronics products. It is a password-protected area, and user registration is required. Once logged in, users have access to Teltronics’ product information, which is divided into five main categories: Distributor Support, Marketing Resources, Product Information, Highlights and News and the FAQ Forum.
