Meeting Will Focus on the ACT! Link for QuickBooks

Boca Raton, FL…The ACT! Users Group of South Florida will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, May 7 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Road, Delray Beach. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. The meeting is sponsored by Karen Fredricks of Tech Benders. At this meeting, Karen Fredricks will discuss the ACT! Link for QuickBooks, an ACT! add-on product that allows ACT! users to view their QuickBooks data in ACT!. This product will also allow users of ACT! and QuickBooks to synchronize contact information between the two products.

According to Fredricks, "Approximately 70% of ACT! users utilize QuickBooks as their accounting software. Many of those users are currently entering all of their contact information into both products. The ACT! Link for QuickBooks eliminates the need to duplicate the entry of contact information into each of the two products.”

Fredricks has over 20 years of computer consulting and training experience in South Florida, during which time she has acquired in-depth expertise in the operational requirements of a broad spectrum of businesses. Author of ACT! 6 for Dummies, Fredricks is an ACT! Certified Consultant and an ACT! Premier Trainer. She was selected to host the Fort Lauderdale stop of the national launch of ACT! 6.0, which took place in August 2002. Fredricks is also a QuickBooks Pro Certified Advisor and author of copyrighted training materials for business users of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, WordPerfect, Basic Windows and the Internet,
