Vero Beach, FL.---November 13, 2002—eCalton recently unveiled a redesigned Web site for the Vero Beach Museum of Art. The new site, www.vbmuseum.org, features online galleries, virtual slide shows and upgraded educational resources available to the public.
Visitors to www.vbmuseum.org will be able to view virtual slide shows of artwork done by students and faculty from area schools and can view slide shows of various events held at the museum. In addition, art enthusiasts can download information on museum-sponsored educational outreach programs, upcoming art classes, the museum lecture series, a calendar of events and information on getting to and touring the museum.
Students and researchers can link to a comprehensive Art Encyclopedia where they can find examples of a particular artist’s work, history, biographical information and can even view collections at various art museums around the country. Visitors can also find out museum membership information and browse online at the museum store.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of our redesigned Web site,” stated Joe Ellis, Public Relations Coordinator for the Vero Beach Museum of Art. “ When we were looking to overhaul our existing site we went straight to eCalton. We have worked closely with the company for several years and have consistently found them to be creative, professional and easily accessible.”
