ACT! 6.0 National Product Launch Tour Attracts 450 in Fort Lauderdale

Boca Raton, FL…Approximately 450 ACT! users flocked to the Westin Hotel in Fort Lauderdale on August 26th for the ACT! 6.0 Product Launch and Trade Show. The event was presented by Goldstein Lewin & Co, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, and sponsored by The South Florida Business Journal and Audio Visual Solutions Corporation.

After the trade show, presentations were given by Karen Fredricks, an ACT! Certified Consultant and ACT! Premier Trainer of Goldstein Lewin, and Michaela Zwinakis, Vice President of ACT! Product Management. Fredricks illustrated how ACT! can be customized and used to meet company-specific needs, and Zwinakis demonstrated some of the most important new features of the contact management database. Afterwards, Fredricks and Zwinakis answered questions from the audience.

There were more than a dozen door prizes with an aggregate value of over $1,500.

“I know that ACT! has a loyal following, but I didn’t realize the depth of enthusiasm that its users have,” said Fredricks. She added, “Participants came from as far away as Tampa and Orlando. Even though I expected a good turnout, I was amazed at the actual number of people who attended, especially considering that the event was planned and executed in only six weeks.”
