TechVillage Tampa Bay Holds Brown Bag Luncheon on News Media

Tampa, Fla. – (Aug. 20, 2002) – TechVillage Tampa Bay, a not-for-profit technology business accelerator/incubator, has scheduled its August brown bag luncheon – the latest in a series of educational sessions for technology entrepreneurs.

The Brown Bag Lunch educational program, “Why your news isn’t – Understanding what is newsworthy and why,” will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 23, and will discuss how to be effective in working with news media representatives. The panel, featuring Mike Kersmarki, assistant business editor, The Tampa Tribune; Larry Liebert, executive business editor, St. Petersburg Times; Mac McKerral, editor of The Business Journal Serving Greater Tampa Bay and Aaron Mitchell, editor of The Digital Daily; will be moderated by Suzie Boland, president, RFB Communications Group.
